Earliermy friends used to drag me, to dance in a marriage barat(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hindi_and_Urdu_wedding_songs),or in a high cultured dance party or play colourful “Holi”(Color Festival InIndia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holi)but seeing my irritation level stopped doing so.

Maybe you don’t believe if I say I never played Holi/attended a marriage party noteven friends get together.

Whatkind of behaviour is mine? Most of the times I don’t understand myself why do Ibehave like this. I do have a desire to do all these but I can’t.

Whenevermy friends or somebody invites to the party or any kind of get together Ialways like to go and I will tell them I will be there but I never go. You knowsome times I get ready by wearing party dress but at peak point get nervous andmy heart say better luck next time.

DiI different from others or others is different from me? Are there any guys whofeel like me?

Isit a kind different of psychology? I don’t know!

It is like you are swimming in a boat. If youdon’t do anything the currents takes somewhere. But if you try to raw againstthe current you will definitely reach the target point. It is obviouslydifficult but you have to do it to reach your goal. Life is like this.

Start doing anything right now. Try to changeyourself and improve the way of life.

2)Analyse yourself:

This is very importantstep to do the above step as before you are going to do something you need toanalyse what has happened.

You have to Analyse youractions, advantages, disadvantages andsuccessful things etc. you have to analyse not only mistakes andfailures(generally people have a bad habit of analysing only the failures sodon’t go in that way)but also the success and positive thinking. Sit once in awhile and take a paper and pen, write down all important things whether it is asuccess or failure. Put them in two columns.

In final you will get anidea of skills you have already acquired and you want to acquire.

Then plan it accordinglythat by using the present skills how to acquire the new and innovative skills.Now you will get an idea of what to change, how and when.

3)Try to be more attractive

Attraction is a strange thing. A personcan be perfectly handsome or beautiful, but if they are not attractive, their beautycan go unnoticed. Being attractive doesn't mean that we should be pretty.

It is something like showing yourinner beauty. Here you have a question of how to show your inner beauty?

Here are some ways to show your innerbeauty

Beyourself:

People try to hide their truecharacter pretending to be someone else. You have no reason to hide yourproblems or short comings. Don’t feel shy. Love yourself; you will definitelylove by others.

Bestraightforward:

Speak to the point and don’t nag atothers. Don’t talk for the sake of talking. Speak attractively and straight. It will give power to your words.

Givea Smile:

Smile is the easiest way of beingattractive. Smile can attract anybody. The most successful persons areconstantly smiled. So smile a lot.

Laugh out loud. It is a real and happy exercise to your body. Youknow, any person become attractive when laughing. Try to laugh often. Read lotof humour books and share the stories from the book and give an opportunity toothers to laugh. Everyone likes a person with a sense of humour.

Open to other people:

Be open and honest. Honesty is the best impression. Don’t try tolie to anybody at any cost. Don’t be rigid and nobody likes closed.

Listen to others:

Listening is a good skill and it will make you more attractive.People love who love to listen to them. So try listening others truly. You needto look into others eyes directly while others are speaking. It will giveenergy to the speaker in way that the talk is interesting. Don’t ask questionsin between. You can also take the attention of other people by listening.

4)Manage your time:

Once you decide tochange your life, better to learn how to manage your time. Time management is acapability to find out the difference between the primary tasks and secondarytasks. Primary task is the one which you need to do it first of all and thesecondary can wait a bit. Learn how tooptimize your works such a way that they can be finished in lesser time. To doall these you should first get rid of laziness and try to do things on you own.Depending on others for your make outs will obviously lose your time.

There are some ways tomanage your time

i) Make a list of tasksevery day morning

ii) Concentrate on onlyone task

iii) Try not to postponethings

iv) Keep a deadline

v) Make a Note on yourdairy

5) Give up bad habits:

Habit is an action thatwe do without thinking as it is already have back up in your mind. if you do anaction repeatedly will become a habit. At first you do it something consciouslyand controlling all your deeds. But later it is easier for you to do it.

There are differenttypes of habits. Some of them are simple and don’t influence us much. Some ofthem are very difficult to give up and ruin your health. You want to get rid ofthem but you cannot because bad habits are influence a lot that you cannotcontrol yourself.

Try to give up those badhabits which will ruin your health.

So what to do?

i) Find out why you dothis? Or why the bad habit b controlling you.

ii) Take a decision ongiving up a bad habit and inform to all your friends and relative by that youcan control yourself.

iii) Go for alternatehabit which is good for you.

Yesterdaymorning I was going through DC(Deccan Chronicle, Deccan chargers IPL official Sponsored).In the main page there is news “Techies in race with SSC qualified for villagejobs”. It was amazing news that I have started reading the whole news and felthappy.

Day before I was reading about PURA, Provision of Urban Amenities inRural Areas to enrich the rural areaswhich was started couple of years ago by Indian legendary president Abdulkalam. The initiatives of this project are to improve the living conditions ofthe rural India by providing the employment, building hospitals etc. When I wasin my teen age everybody wants to run to the city to study higher education toget a five numbers income in a Multinational Company. Even I ran out from myvillage for better education and I did Masters in Geoinformatics from OsmaniaUniversity (I am from a rural village in Karimnagar District which is 169n kmfrom capital city of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad)and worked for 4 years and nowwant to become an entrepreneur.

Hopethis decision fro youth, of becoming Village Revenue Officers (VRO’s) is reallygood initiative to the state as qualified youth don’t really want to dobribe/maybe there is a chance of getting thing done by without taking any bribefor the villagers who don’t know anything about the subsidies which are fromthe government.

Iheartly support those B.Tech graduates who applied for VRO’s which an importantpost to develop the village is really, of course it leads to the nationsdevelopment. There are 6000(1,000 VRO’s and 5000 Village Resource Assistants)posts were notified for the state and more than 10, 00,000 applications havealready been submitted. The good thing here is more than 50,000 graduates havebeen applied though the basic qualification is 10+2(for VRA’s 10^thonly).

Hopethis enthusiasm from the young graduates is really appreciated and I hope allthe best to you guys.

Once upon on a time ,there was one Priest and Auto driver lived in an

Urban Ghetto in the same area. Auto driver used to make money out of

his driving. As he is a good and fast driver , he always on demand.

He earned lot of money. To make more bucks out of it he went to

different places and countries to drive .

The same way Priest also went for preaching. As he is a great priest, different countries invited him to give sermons . He used to give sermons in the night. Day and night he used praise the god and also pray the god. He used to tell the stories about the God's grace. People were sleeping when as his preaches are always in the night.

After 40 years and earning so much of money he gets fed up of his profession. So he thought of going to his native and enjoy rest of his life. So he came back to the ghetto which he used to live in his early days. He started enjoying with his childhood friends. He built a big multiplex with swimming fool. And he also started enjoying with his girl friends.

Same way Priest also comes back to his native. But his preaching didn't give any money to him. So he started living in the same hut which he had earlier. Now Priest is jealous about the way Auto driver is living. So he started praying (Tapassu) the god . After two days god comes to him and ask, what happened my son,what is the problem. Then priest started telling his experience that I prayed you day and night. Still I am praying !! But see the worst auto driver never pray you and enjoying a lot. He has a big House and Swimming pool. But I have the same hut an d same problems.

It’s the New Year, which means a lot of new beginnings,some strong new resolutions and some old ones which still need to be worked on. Doing something better for yourself, without disturbing others will lead you to the achieve your targets. This statement doesn't conform “sky is limit”.

Whatever you do,in whatever time ,at whatever place,on which ever conditions do with best confidence definitely you will reach your target.

Try to do some of the following !!Definitely you feel the change !!!. If you dont then you have to....

1.Go on bicycling one in a month for two days,this will give you the boost to your life.May be you cannot see the change in less time but you will feel the change!!If you are real busy try to do it once in a year for a week.

2.Go on trekking once in a year . If possible once in three months.You never forget the experience and this will help you in living healthy lif.

3.Read humour books (Read “Tiger in the toilet by Ajay Kumar”)

4.Listen to Mahbharatha()

5.Try to learn new language(better if it is foreign language.you will feel amazing.

6.Try to wake up early-in the morning . If possible 5 am and go out for walking (It should not be formal). Just a informal walking . You will get good ideas.

7.Do some farming work when you go home,if you have farming land or else build a “Kitchen garden”

8.Go on exploring new places and new persons.

9.Dont buy always branded.Buy something from the roadside sales guys(Like love balloons,cleaning cloth and so on. It helps in encouraging them and surviving them)

10.Always try to do something good to others.

Technology has been drastically updating by itself and the pace of the present technological innovation is too high that a normal /common man not in a position to catch as it has been updating by
If you want to update yourself with the present technology you should be an extraordinary person having extraordinary thoughts.
Recently I have gone through an article which is published in renowned magazine in geoinformatics named “Geoinformatics”. The article was explaining about a new concept in spatial technology called “Motion Video Exploitation”.
I think the concept is new for us but United States has been started using this technology for the defense related activities from December 2009. They are pretty good in innovating GIS technologies, in fact each & and every field.
Intergraph, United States core defense partner, has made an “Unmanned Aerial Vehicle “which can be operated by a remote from the ground .Uav send the motion video instead of giving the imageries ( aircraft gives the photos & satellite gives the images). I don’t know the processing techniques, but will be like watching a movie and finding out the beat areas & extracting the information .See how funny the working nature is? It is really awesome!!!
This technology is now only for defense purposes .Soon it will come in to civilian applications also like every Remote Sensing & GIS technology (initially GIS & RS technology started with defense purpose later came into civilian applications)

These days everybody starts their day with cup of Coffee & a News paper, whether it may be English or Hindi or Telugu or whichever the language they can read .Everybody want to be update day by day.In the future like after five years you will not get a paper.News paper usage will be reduced dramatically.If you want to read news you have to open maps portal like maps.Google.com and search for your own area .Then there you will get news. Wherever there is news there is a blink or mash up or pop up will be highlighted.You have to go through like this.In the near future you will have fun of mapping news.Really it is interesting .This is called Location based services .Already so many companies or organizations are using indirectly like display of their own branches in the whole world using a world map.

From 2004 to till 2009 there only and only one 3DGeoportal called Google Earth.In 2009 Indian Space Research Organization has developed a 3D Geo portal called Bhuvan with some extra features like flying height is much higher than Google Earth even though it hasn't popularized much because of registration & poor serving capacity compare to GOOGLE EARTH. Geo explorers are saying that there will be more 3D portals with Different Imagery like Bhuvan in India & the world. Update of 3D portals pace is so high that every month update & yearly .
There will be lot of changes are occurring related to design & imagery.Many portals providing classified imagery Like Bhuvan,it is already providing Agricultural information of India like Khareef & Rabi seasons classified imagery .
It is also providing Ocean related information through Oceansat-2 imagery .
There is lot of social influence on these 3D portals .Almost everybody using these portals for their local usage or for entertainment.Peopl are very fond using this information because it gives them fun & enthusiasm with data & information

Why Telangana has to be separated??

Anybody knows about anything.

Everybody says that telangana is underdeveloped because of the domination of Seemandhra people so telangana has to be separated. Almost all the people are thinking about the development issue. It is not the issue of development. It is the Telangana people’s dream. It is the self respect issue. It is the culture which deals with everything. It is the

There are mainly four reasons to separate Telangana.

1)Thelangana Was already separate state:

Telangana was the separate state (Telangana was not part of Seemandhrapradesh).

The main reason is that Telangana was not part of Seemandhrapradesh.

Till 1953 Seemandhra region was part of Madras state, which was ruled by Britishers. After death of Shri Pottisriramulu by hunger strike Seemandhra region was separated. For almost three years Seemandhra leaders tried hardly to merge with Telangana. Finally they succeeded.

In 1956 Policy makers were forcibly merged Telangana & Seemandhra and made Seemandhrapradesh based on the language which they are speaking is same. That was the biggest mistake. Based on the language as the main reason how can you establish a state?? It is injustice, as the two regions are fallowing entirely different cultures, tradtions & customs. The first state which has been established by merging two separate regions based on the language and I think the last one also. After Seemandhrapradesh 15 states established based on the same rule but they were separated not merged.

2. Social Respect & Recognition:

Telangana people are fighting for their social status not for the development. They want their own recognition in the world .They don’t want someone else to represent instead of them in the world. They need their own Identification .They need their own ruling.

3. Income difference:

As there is lot of difference in income, and resources the people were not interest to mingle with each other. As the Seemandhra region was very well developed & economically stabilized (because of green revolution and other development activities like roads & railways) by the time of Establishment of Seemandhrapradesh, ther is lot of difference in per capital income in both the regions. For example, if a middle class Telangana person is getting 10000 per month, Seemandhra middle class person per capital income is 50,000 per month. How can you fill this gap?? We can’t fill this gap by simply giving special package to the underdeveloped regions of Telangana. Obviously high income group always dominate the low income group .That is universal law.

Here we can point out one thing that Seemandhra region may not feel that they are dominating telangana people but unknowingly they are dominating.

Telangana people deserving the freedom from Seemandhra people. They are unable to digest the Seemandhra people domination.

4)Development:

Everybody is thinking that Telangana is underdeveloped so they are fighting for separate Telangana. Development is not big issue. More over how can you say that Telangana is underdeveloped?? Telengana is developed but comparatively underdeveloped. Hyderabad is capital city of Anadhrapradesh which comes under and which has been spreading into 4 districts of Seemandhrapradesh how can you say Telangana is underdeveloped. Telangana people are satisfied with their development.If they compare with Seemandhra region they are less developed. Comparative poverty is there everywhere.

If you compare India & China, China is more developed than India, that doesn’t mean that India is not developed.

So it’s not an issue of development .It is an issue of so many other things also. So everybody should support Telangana, even if they are from Seemandhra.

Many people are thinking that, Telangana Politicians’ are playing games .They influenced that if Telangana comes everybody will get a Government job. That is blunder. That’s meaningless. It’s not an issue of Job or other employment. It is the matter of Rule Yourself, It is the matter of Recognition, and it is the matter of Identification. That’s why Telangana people are fighting.

So fight for Telangana!!!!

Love is any of a number of emotions related to a sense of strong affection and attachment. This diversity of uses and meanings, combined with the complexity of the feelings involved, makes love unusually difficult to consistently define, even compared to other emotional states.
Love is everywhere .You finds love in each and every person, in each and every society. Anthropologists find love in 170 societies around the world. They have never found a society that did have it.

Is love a great experience or great feeling? You can say no.
As per Helen Fisher, a famous researcher in love says that Love is not a good experience. She conducted a survey with only two questions around thousand college students,

1) Have you ever been rejected by somebody who you really loved?

2) Have you ever dumped somebody who really loved you.

Almost 95 % of the both men & women said yes to both. Almost nobody gets harder love life. So love isn’t too happy experience. We will discuss on romantic love as it is the part of the love and is the powerful love.

Introduction:

Everyone's talking about the need to reduce their carbon footprint. Do you know what that is? A carbon footprint is the total set of greenhouse gas emissions caused by one individual. In short, “carbon footprint” of an individual describes how much carbon dioxide is being emitted by an individual. Whatever impression, whatever impact you are leaving on the atmosphere. So once you have assessed your footprint, you can begin to figure out how to reduce it.

“Carbon foot” print is going to be the most important factor of your life. There is no doubt it will play vital role in the future.

There is no lower limit for carbon foot print, even if you are emitting less than that average carbon foot print of an Indian, still you can reduce your carbon foot print. But if your result is more than that you have to reduce the co2 being emitted by you.

The average carbon footprint for an Indian is round 1.5 tonnes of CO2. This and other gases accumulate in the atmosphere like a blanket around the planet, trapping the heat sphere is like a footprint in the sand. In this case, it's an imprint on the atmosphere. So once you have assessed your footprint, you can begin to figure out how to reduce it.

There are some easy ways to reduce your carbon foot print:

1) Stop flying regularly or at least reduce your flying. You can't stop traveling but may be you can choose by train or other way of transport system

2) If you are driving a car, make sure it has a small engine. Or better than driving a car is to ride a moped. Better still is to ride a cycle, or even better, to walk or use a bus.

3) If you are driving a vehicle “don’t blow the horn “unless & until you need it.

These days most of the people use horn even if it is not necessary.

4) Air-conditioning to keep houses and rooms cool is on the rise in India. But that uses energy. Try to reduce the usage of A/C & cooler.

5) The next & most important thing would be to take responsibility for trees. Because trees absorb carbon. So you can make sure that tree conservation areas are well protected. It doesn't just reduce your CO2 emissions, but it also encourages insect life or wildlife and improves the quality of the environment.

6) Especially for ladies try to reduce your usage of “Cosmetics” unless and it is made up of eco friendly materials.

7) “Think globally Act locally “this is the powerful slogan to fallow each and every person to reduce global warming.

Every body should take the responsibility to reduce their carbon emissions.

8) Don’t break any items which are made up of Glass, recycling will consume the lot of energy.

Well I am myself a public servant, by default, now why I say that is not something I am going to share with you, but what I want to share is , why do people opt for govt. jobs when it pays you ,when you compare it with multi nationals also u get posted in far flung areas , broadly there are three factors
(1) Job security
(2) Less amount of work
(3) No accountability
(4) Power

People develop an attitude that they are secure and even if they don't do anything they will not be fired. In simple and good words its called job security, now what it means is that people start behaving in a manner which is totally unacceptable for example they will come late and leave early (Even if they have any work) even people who use to be sincere in their college days do it.
Now the second factor people joining any PSU have somewhere in the back of their minds a feeling that one has to work less in govt. &govt undertakings. Other wise I don't think that people actually join a govt. undertaking in order to serve their country.

The third one is there is no accountability if your work .If you work you a promotion in 3 yrs even if u don't you will get it in 3yrs. So why work you'll get your salary for sure only thing is u'll spoil your confidential report, that for such people that doesn't matter. They are happy photocopying despite being an engineer.

Last but not the least they think they are always on the ruling side so they have the power but this is only a false sense of achievement as there are no real powers.

A Google search has a strong impact on the environment .One search generates approximately 7g of carbon dioxide(co2)i.e half of what a kettle of boiling water generates (About 15g).When a person searches a particular item in Google,his request goes to several servers which compete against each other.The request may sent to servers that are very far from one another There are servers of Google search in the US,Europe,Japan and China.Each server generates as answer and the one that is produced the fastest is sent to the person by Google .Though this system is efficient it amounts to high energy consumption .Also each of these servers or data centres consumes a lot of power.Google claims that it is in the forefront of green computing but it is nevertheless,leaving a large carbon footprint.

These days almost all the parents are working so that they can run their family .Because of working the parents not getting time to drop their children at schools and colleges. So almost all the parents who are working or non working have been depending on the public transport system .But these days people are depending on the Autos,Schools buses and other private transport systems. This is good if they couldn't depend on public transport system because we all of you know the reason .So manay parents depend on Autos.This is good . HYDERABAD: Remember Popeye and his famous can of spinach? Well, all green leafy vegetables are not exactly Popeye’s power-giving spinach. And the old adage ‘green is gold’ certainly doesn’t apply to this green leafy vegetable called ‘seema thotakura’ or ‘alligator weed’.
Known with different local names such as ‘seema ponnaganti’ or ‘silvan bacchal’, the hollow stemmed weed with pointed leaves is increasingly gaining popularity among city dwellers. Available for Rs. 2 or Rs.3 per bundle, the weed is being sold in many vegetable markets. So what’s so dangerous about it? The innocent-looking green leafy vegetable is not rich in iron or vitamins but is instead, a storehouse of toxic heavy metals, point scientists in the city.Carcinogenic
Picked up from polluted water bodies in the city such as Hussainsagar and Musi River, it is in fact an indicator of pollution, says M.V.S. Prasad, Professor, Department of Plant Sciences, University of Hyderabad. Prof. Prasad, who has carried out extensive research, says consumption of the weed has ‘carcinogenic and mutagenic’ effects on human health. However, an official of Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) says consumption of this weed is unheard of and not yet brought to their notice. “Alligator weed is an invasive alien species which spreads automaticallyAny alien leafy vegetable is referred to as ‘seema thotakura’ or ‘seema ponaganti’ in the local jargon. So we need to first confirm if what is being sold is Alligator Weed and then analyse it,” said the official.
Prof. Prasad agrees about the jargon but says that the weed is being sold widely. “During the course of my research I found the weed being widely sold with different local names in many markets such as Uppal, Nallakunta and Monda etc,” he said adding that consumers don’t question the origin of their food. Prod the vendors a little and they will tell you that the weed grows in ‘water’. “We get it from water bodies close to Madanpet, Dilshuknagar and Nagole,” says a vendor at Monda.
Native to South America, it is considered as one of the worst weeds in the world, says Chintala Sudhakar Reddy, Scientist, Forest and Ecology Division, National Remote Sensing Agency (NRSA). “It is commonly found in urban water ways, drainages and sewage sludge and has the ability to absorb several heavy metals such as mercury, cadmium, chromium and copper,” he says.

This year’s theme for World Environment Day (WED) is Your Planet Needs You! UNite to Combat Climate Change. But too often we are presented with environmental problems without being given the tools to act. WED is about taking action to be a part of the solution. And the Daily do something Tips are a great start.

We can all do our part to protect the planet by using less and acting more. Going green is not as difficult as you might think. Here we walk you through 30 easy ways to green your daily routine, from the moment you hit snooze on your solar-powered alarm clock to the point when you crawl into your eco-washed, organic cotton sheets.

Make your WED commitment today. But don’t stop at today and don’t stop here. Try to incorporate all of these into your life as a matter of routine. Get others to do so the same. And get involved!

IN GENERAL:

Plant a tree! Help achieve UNEP’s Billion Tree Campaign target of planting seven billion trees – one for every person on the planet – by the end of this year! Three billion are planted. Five billion are pledged. On every continent in the world trees can be planted in June, so start your efforts on WED.
Find needy homes or charitable organizations for things that you no longer need or want rather than throwing it away.

It would seem to go without saying, but many of us forget that we can save water in simple ways like not letting the tap run while shaving, washing your face, or brushing your teeth.
Insulating your water heater will help save valuable energy, and you can go the extra mile by installing showerheads with a low flow in your bathrooms for bathing purposes to help save water. You can also put a timer on your heaters to save power.
Using an electric razor or hand razor with replaceable blades instead of disposable razors goes a long way to cutting back on waste. And plant a tree.
Use towels for drying your face and hands instead of tissues that are used and thrown away. Also, hang your towels to dry so that they can be reused several times. You are after all clean when you use them!
Juice or yoghurt lovers can do their bit by buying juice in concentrates and yoghurt in reusable containers instead of single serving packages.
Many of us like to leaf through the paper as we munch on breakfast, but consider reading the dailies in communal spaces like the office or coffee shops. However, if you prefer to have your own copy, make sure you recycle!
When packing your lunch, opt for reusable containers for food storage instead of wrapping the food with aluminum foil or plastic wrap.
As you leave the house, don’t forget to switch off all the lights and appliances at the wall unit (if you have this feature) and unplug chargers as they continue to consume even if they are not charging; saving energy helps reduce air pollution.
GETTING TO WORK:

Don’t go anywhere without your cloth bag so you can just say no to plastic whenever you shop.
Radical as it may seem, in today’s “the easier the better” society, the easiest way to reduce your carbon footprint is by avoiding driving altogether. Power down and Instead try biking, walking, carpooling, public transport or an occasional telecommute.

If you’re one of the lucky few blessed with clear stretches of road on your way to work, use cruise control, as it saves fuel and also helps you maintain a constant speed.
If you’re among the majority of drivers who spend their mornings stuck in traffic, consider turning your engine off if you will be idling for long periods of time. And plant a tree.
For those who suffer from road rage, remember that aggressive driving lowers your mileage, so if you want to save on fuel and save the planet while you’re at it, accelerate gradually-- something to keep that in mind the next time that bad driver cuts you off! Just count to 10 and say the planet needs me!
AT WORK:

Do you have a morning hot drink routine? Using a washable mug is an environmentally-friendly alternative to non-biodegradable styrofoam or plastic cups.
Leave a cup and reusable bottle for water at work to eliminate buying drinks, which get served in plastic cups, or bottled water. 80% of plastic bottles are recyclable but only 20% are actually recycled.
When you need a pad for lists and messages, turn over an old document and write on the back of that instead.
If there isn’t an office recycling system, start one yourself! Recycling our trash actually contributes to reducing global warming emissions. And it is estimated that 75% of what is thrown in the trash could actually be recycled, though currently only 25% is.
When you must have a paper copy, make sure you default your printer option to use both sides. This is an easy tree-saver!
Most computer accessories like ink cartridges and CDs and DVDs are made of materials that could be reused. Computer cords and speakers are fairly standardized, meaning they can be used for a variety of computer models and makes.
Lower your office’s carbon footprint by seeing computers, monitors, printers, copiers, speakers and other business equipment to their energy saving feature and turning them off at the end of the day. And plant a tree!
Turning off all unnecessary lights, especially in unused offices and conference rooms is an easy way to save energy.
If you’re in search of something to personalize your workspace, look no further than the humble houseplant. Houseplants are good for the environment because they remove quantities of pollutants present in the air.
AFTER A LONG DAY:

In the summer/warmer months, consider using an interior fan in conjunction with your window air-conditioner to spread the cooled air more effectively through your home. While you’re at it, in winter, lower your thermostat and put on a jumper. In summer, increase it and wear lighter clothes, you will also save money!
Don’t place lamps or TV sets near your air-conditioning thermostat as it senses heat from these appliances, which can cause the air-conditioner to run longer than necessary.
When cooking dinner, match the size of the pan to the size of the heating element to lower energy wastage.
When you are feeling at your laziest, don’t throw clean clothes in the hamper to avoid hanging them up! Wear jeans more than once…

Worries over Bhuvan – India's version of GoogleEarth

India is launching its own version of Google Earth for urban planning amid worries that it could be misused after the Mumbai attacks probe showed militants had studied Google images of targets. India's version of Google Earth called Bhuvan, is a Web-based service developed by India's National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC). The service is aimed at helping scientists, town planners and administrators in areas of disaster management as well, officials said. It is expected to go one better than Google Earth, helping viewers gauge the soil type and ground water potential across the mainland with high resolution images and data from satellites. "We are working with the government for a 2.5 metre (7 feet) resolution," NRSC director V. Jayaraman, told Reuters from the southern Indian city of Hyderabad. "We'll be putting a lot of thematic information like land use, ground water potential and soil types, which are not available on Google Earth," another NRSC scientist said. But there are security concerns that Bhuvan could be misused because usage would be free. "Giving satellite images to everyone will obviously have some kind of a security impact," said Ajai Sahni of New Delhi's Institute for Conflict Management. "There is a possibility of misuse of such technology," Sahni said. Security analyst Uday Bhaskar said there needs to be a global consensus on availability of such technology. "There should be a global consensus on what is the kind of technology disseminated and what kind of firewall we need to erect for our own internal security," Bhaskar said.

So, get focused, and get writing with what it is you want to achieve. Don't worry if you can’t yet dream the big stuff yet, start small – and I promise you'll be moving on up to the bigger pictures sooner than you ever imagined!

2. Get a plan If you knew where you wanted to go, the next question would be, "how are you going to get there?" What would you need to do first in order to be "on course" to succeed? Be practical; fit your planning in with whatever time you have right now, but push just a little bit.

3. Chunk Chunking is that age old way of achieving what may first appear impossible, simply because it's just too damn big. Chunk down, plan "baby steps," and again before you know it you'll be looking like a giant.

4. Challenge those fears Whatever comes up and stops you achieving, challenge. Ask yourself;

Is this for me? Is it what I really want? What do I need to change in order to get success? Do I need to enlist anyone else’s help or take some training? What would I need to believe to win? What can I do to re-enforce that new belief?

5. The secret ingredient... ...and the secret? There is no secret; just TAKE ACTION. There's only so much dreaming, planning, refining, challenging, chunking, reviewing (blah blah blah) a person can do – and then you need to take action.

Nothing - let me repeat - NOTHING will build up your motivation quicker or more solidly than following through on your actions. Remember your mantra, from today it's "do it, do it now!"

Bhuvan –India’s answer to Google earth

Indian Space Research Organization will launch an IRS Image Portsl called Bhuvan by the end of march 2009.For this Bhuvan ISRO is going to use only Indian satellite Imagery only.
The bhuvan portal system is expected to take on the popular google earth .
It is equivalent to google earth but will be much more precise .It will provide the latest information on natural resources .Bhuvan will provide very accurate maps of the region with latest pictures. Bhuvan will be more precise than the Google earth in these two fields .

One is the Updation .Other mapping sites take 4 years to update the Information .But Bhuvan will be updated every year .For this they are going to use only Indian satellites only.
Second thing what they are telling is Bhuvan will give you an image from only 10 meters away.which means one can view the image up to a 1-5 floor high building.

Along with Bhuvan ISRO will also launch a Land use land cover portal Bhoosampada.Click here to see the Bhoosampada Portalhttp://218.248.0.130:15001/
This land informatiom portal will provide the information about the land in different categories.Whether it is a barren land or agri land or the built up.

1.Change a light:
Replacing one regular light bulb with compact fluorescent bulb will save 150 pounds of Carbon dioxide in a year
2.Drive Less:
Don’t drive too much .If it is walkable please don’t use the vehicle .If it is far away use the public transport system .You will save one pound of carbon dioxide for every mile you don’t drive
3.Recycle more:
Recycle your hosehold wastage by that you can save 2,400 pounds of carbon dioxide per year
4.Reuse :
Don’t go for use and through things if you get reusable .Like pens .Dont go for use and through pens and shaving items .This will reduce lot of plastic garbage.

5.Check your tyres :

This is very usefull to our governance also. Our government is not in a position to all these but as a private org it is doing .This is really excellent .

Need of Merci Killing In India

Hi all,
As usually I have started from home to by 7.50 to catch the train at 8.14 .I reached raillway station by 8.00 .When reached there are few persons waiting for the train which i need to take. One person has said that the train will come by 8.30 beacause some problems I dont know what exactly it is. Then I was thinking about to sit somewhere .Beacause of its small station there is no sufficient chairs to sit everybody.Slowly the passengers are incresing minute by minute.I searched for a better place and I have saeted on a small wall which is b\nopt very flexible to sit.As soon as I sit I have opened my bag and take out a book which has given by my Head .Then I have started reading it I heard some small sound like the sound which comes from a child cough .I expected that some body is sleeping behind this wall without turn back .
Then crossed the wall from there only because it is big enough to cross.Then I have seen a person who is sleeping there and he is not in postion to speak.Not speak he is unable to move his hands from the place which he kept.I surprized that there are so many people around him but no one is observed him.There is a small tea shop nearby that place.Many people are standing ther and tking tea or having something .They are busy with their own activities .See the morality has gone .No kindness .Even I went there and i did'nt do any thing.I got some tea to him but he is not in a postion to take .Still he is alive.He don't want live but he is alive
So there is no intention of living .Merci Killing is must and should for them .
Please help them who are in very need

Difference between govt and corporate sector

Hi All,

Today I wish to share few lines about my first week stay in NRSA. I guessed NRSA as very good organization and I stepped in with lots of hopes by its name and reputation in the society and GIS industry. I also expected a lots of skilled professionals around the institute, but most of my dreams were just dreams.
Though I should not compare two industries but at this point of time I would like to share my earlier experience which I had in Google. I worked as GIS specialist for google and during my period of stay there I met many of the GIS professionals who were well qualified from universities like ISB, IIMs, ITC and many more. They also use High-end technologies which gave me exposure to many recent happenings in industry. The best part is there was no BIAS among the employees all were treated the same and everyone were called with their good names may it be manager or the office boy.
In NRSA I feel difficult to go with the politics, Ego, and the false respect of calling everyone as Sir, though I need to go with this for a year, I am hoping something best would happen but future is future……… Lets wait and watch it……..

I have joined there(NRSC) on 22nd of september 2008.22nd was my first day In NRSC,I was so tensed but it was good.But all my collegues are good people .So I had mingle in an easy way.
It is good Envoronment to work .Because NRSC is using lot of high end technologies .I can say I got a good opportunity to work with highly skilled professionls.All my collegues are older than me and I can say intelligent than me .I hope I will get good opportunities tooooo

Do you know that on an average a person runs about sixty thousand thoughts through his mind per day? Amazing isn’t it, but more amazing is that 95% of the thoughts gets repeated everyday. So just keep a check upon your thoughts and imagination because they are the key to unlock your dreams. I will tell you how.

Do you know how the concept of Ad films works? Companies know the impact of repeated thoughts and roll up the Ad film several times a day. Advertisement impacts our subconscious mind and creates a place somewhere in our brain and motivates us to buy things which we cannot afford sometimes. Although we may not be in the need to buy a car and do not have enough money to buy it even then we start discussing performance of the car among friends and finally bring it home on monthly installments of the car loan.

Remember the day when your dad asked you to get him salt? You went to the kitchen and could not find it even though your mom instructed you constantly where it is. Then finally your mom came and picked it up right in front of your eyes. Have you thought that why you were not able to get it inspite that it was in front of your eyes? It’s because your brain gave you the order that you don’t know where the salt is. So even though you reached to the exact place, you couldn’t see it.

See what your brain can do. It has the power to accomplish extraordinary things. We all have the same 24 hours of the day. Some of us make them best some worst. It all depends upon our thinking pattern and attitude in life. I know you must have read all this in many books and have heard several times from elders. But even then have you followed it? We need to get constant reminders of our hidden powers. So from this very moment onwards take a control over your mind. Cut all the negative thoughts and warn them strictly not to interrupt you again. Start thinking positive, be constructive and miracles will happen.

Hi All,

I am here to share my views about the Offsite which we had on thursday means i.e yestrday.
This was the my first Offsite .I am not interested to Offsite but I am curious know about the behaviour of the people .So I went to Offsite .The location is Celebrity Resorts .Which is 40 km away from the city .We have started with lot of enthusiasm.At 1.00 pm we have started from office and we reached at 2.30 pm.As soon as we reach there ,the Resort persons have given welcome drink.Its 3pm we have strartd palying games.

1)The firste which we played is VolleyBall.That was the funniest thing which i feel in this Offsite .

2)Then people are started searching to get happieness .
3)As far as I know these people are did lot of Extraordinary things to get happiness. They are not in a position to get happiness from ordinary things.So they played a game in which a Guy has to tie Saree and Gurl has to tie Dhothi.And they have to make up accordingly and reach the destination which we already know.
4)Then we had great swim ,but the pool is not good.
5)Then its time for disco,almost all people are participated in this except me because as I came from rural background so I am always be far away from all these activities.
6)we have started form there at 9.40

Anyhow we have enjoyed alot .

The great thing which I did is i have observed the behaviour of the people .Here we can observe the inner thoughts of the people .So if you get an opportunity to go to Offsite dont miss it.

Considering the importance of the activities carried out in the area of aerial and satellite remote sensing, the National Remote Sensing Agency (NRSA), an autonomous society under Department of Space (DOS) has been converted into a full-fledged Government organisation called National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) from today (September 1, 2008).

NRSA was established as a registered society under the Department of Science & Technology in 1974 with the objective of undertaking and facilitating remote sensing activities in the country. The administrative control of NRSA was transferred to the Department of Space during early eighties and with the growth of indigenous efforts in space borne remote sensing, NRSA played a major role in the ground segment under the Indian Remote Sensing Programme. NRSA, through its training establishment Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), Dehra Dun, has become an institution of international repute for capacity building.

It is expected that, with the conversion, NRSC will, as part of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), fully integrate with other ISRO Centres in the development and operations of the ground segment of the large constellation of India Remote Sensing Satellites and will also take a bigger role during the R&D phase of IRS programme.

NRSC as a Government entity, is expected to fulfill its goals playing a major role in important national programmes, through linkages with all concerned Government departments/agencies such as Ministries of agriculture, water resources, urban development, Home Affairs, etc., including the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).

Dr V Jayaraman has been appointed as Director, National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC), Hyderabad and he took charge from Dr K Radhakrishnan, the out-going Director.

Dr Jayaraman holds a Bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering from University of Madras, Master of Science in electrical engineering from IIT, Madras and a Doctorate in Physics from Bangalore University. He is recognised for his contributions in the areas ranging from spacecraft systems engineering to applications development and positioning of policies & regulatory framework for integrating the high technology inputs into national development. Dr Jayaraman has brought coherence amongst technology, research and applications of direct relevance to Earth science.

Dr. Jayaraman is a fellow of institution of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineers, Fellow of Indian Geophysical Union, Member of the Indian Society of Remote Sensing, Indian Society of Geomatics and Astronautical Society of India.

1. Pay Attention to Nonverbal Signals
People can communicate information in numerous ways; so pay attention to things like eye contact, gestures, posture, body movements, and tone of voice. All of these signals can convey important information that isn't put into words. By paying closer attention to other people's nonverbal behaviors, you will improve your own ability to communicate nonverbally.
2. Look for Incongruent Behaviors
If someone's words do not match their nonverbal behaviors, you should pay careful attention. For example, someone might tell you they are happy while frowning and staring at the ground. Research has shown that when words fail to match up with nonverbal signals, people tend to ignore what has been said and focus instead on nonverbal expressions of moods, thoughts, and emotions.
3. Concentrate on Your Tone of Voice When Speaking
Your tone of voice can convey a wealth of information, ranging from enthusiasm to disinterest to anger. Google Acquires Keyhole Corp
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. - October 27, 2004 - Google Inc. (Nasdaq: GOOG) today announced it acquired Keyhole Corp., a Mountain View, Calif.-based digital mapping company.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
"With Keyhole, you can fly like a superhero from your computer at home to a street corner somewhere else in the world - or find a local hospital, map a road trip or measure the distance between two points," said Jonathan Rosenberg, vice president, Product Management. "This acquisition gives Google users a powerful new search tool, enabling users to view 3D images of any place on earth as well as tap a rich database of roads, businesses and many other points of interest. Keyhole is a valuable addition to Google's efforts to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful."
With an Internet connection, users enter an address or other location information and Keyhole's software accesses the database and takes them to a digital image of that location on their computer screen. The interactive software then gives users many options, including the ability to zoom in from space-level to street-level, tilt and rotate the view or search for other information such as hotels, parks, ATMs or subways. Unlike traditional mapping technologies, Keyhole creates a dynamic 3D interface for geographic information.
Keyhole's technology combines a multi-terabyte database of mapping information and images collected from satellites and airplanes with easy-to-use software.
Google also announced, effective immediately, a price reduction for Keyhole 2 LT from $69.95 to $29.95.
Keyhole was founded in 2001. Keyhole customers include consumers, large and small businesses and public agencies. Current Keyhole users will benefit from the expanded resources and operational scale made possible by the integration into Google. Their service will continue uninterrupted.

Search giant Google said Wednesday that it has acquired Keyhole, a company specializing in Web-based software that allows people to view satellite images from around the globe.

I am really impressed. I have just downloaded, installed and tested out for a few minutes Google's new acquisition which is getting headlines everywhere.
KeyHole, this is the name of this Windows-only software, is a powerful image navigation device leveraging a world-over scenery of satellite imagery covering the whole planet.
Not only, KeyHole integrates an extraordinary amount of data relative to roads, borders, cities, and down to gas stations, pharmacies or Italian restaurants that can be dynamically superimposed on any "view".
Flying above the world at high altitude and then diving down to a few hundred feet above the Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco is something absolutely stunning.
KeyHole renders satellite imagery dinamically, retrieving more detailed data as you zoom closer and closer to your destinations.

Unfortunately, only a few world locations have high resolution data available, leaving me in the cold, at about 8,000 feet when I want to go and check more closely to Cayo Largo (Cuba) or the village of Tucacas inside the marvelous National Park of Morrocoy (Venezuela).
The entire globe is captured at a 1 KM resolution, with a limited set of high resolution insets listed in detail here.
In my personal tests I found out that for Rome, where the digitized resolution is 2 feet, allows me to fly down to about 6-700 feet above ground without loosing focus. On the other hand, the lovely island of Koh Samui in Thailand, though it is rated for a digitized resolution of 0.7 meter, gets out of focus as soon as I fly below 35,000 feet.
For what relates to the US, you can get down to about 500 feet above the ground anywhere and have a pretty sharp view of what is down there, including whether your car is really parked in front of your house, or what kind of traffic is awaiting you on the way home.
While Keyhole does cover the entire globe with satellite imagery and it provides you with access to over 8 terabytes of satellite image data, KeyHole does not have high resolution imagery for the entire globe.
KeyHole has focused for now on larger, US metropolitan areas and will be adding much broader coverage in high-resolution detail over the coming months.

Keyhole:PocketGPSWorld.com reporting live from the WebmasterWorld conference in Las Vegas. Dominic Preuss a Strategic Technology Evangelist from Google gave us a demonstration of the new product Google Keyhole, a satellite imaging application including integrated overlays for roads and POIs.
Google recently acquired a company called Keyhole giving it the opportunity to release a product that has been branded as "Google Keyhole". Why is a Google product of interest to PocketgpsWorld.com? Because it provides World Wide geo-referenced satellite images, these are searchable in the same manner as products like Microsoft Mappoint, Mapblast.com etc.
For some strange reason Google have hidden this away on thier tools page with just the keyhole loge and name with no description of what it is. I sort of noticed it the other week when I downloaded the Google Toolbar on a new computer, but it had no significance. It wasn't until the "Google Evangelist" for Keyhole actually showed me a demo of the program did it all come together.
